Description

The ChatBot plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 4.2.8. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the 'qcld_wb_chatbot_save_options' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page (via the 'wp_chatbot_position_x' and 'wp_chatbot_position_y' parameters). This is performed via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
