taxonomy-tinymce plugin v2.0 exhibits a strong security posture based on the provided static analysis. The complete absence of identified AJAX handlers, REST API routes, shortcodes, and cron events with unprotected entry points is highly commendable. Furthermore, the code demonstrates good practices by exclusively using prepared statements for SQL queries and ensuring all output is properly escaped. The lack of dangerous functions, file operations, and external HTTP requests further reduces potential attack vectors. The presence of capability checks, even if only one is noted, is a positive sign for access control. The plugin also has a clean vulnerability history with no known CVEs, indicating a history of secure development. The only potential concern, albeit minor, is the bundling of TinyMCE v2.0, which, while not flagged as vulnerable in this analysis, could be a point of concern if newer, more secure versions of TinyMCE are available and recommended.
