The plugin has a remarkably small attack surface with no identified AJAX handlers, REST API routes, shortcodes, or cron events. Furthermore, it demonstrates good practices by implementing nonce checks and capability checks on its limited entry points, and no dangerous functions or file operations were detected. The absence of any recorded vulnerabilities, including CVEs, further contributes to its positive security profile. This suggests the developers have prioritized security in its design and implementation.\n\nHowever, a notable concern arises from the SQL queries. The analysis indicates that 100% of the two identified SQL queries are not using prepared statements. This is a significant risk as it leaves the plugin vulnerable to SQL injection attacks, even if no such vulnerabilities have been documented historically. Additionally, the output escaping is not fully implemented, with only 60% of outputs properly escaped. This could lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities if sensitive data is outputted without proper sanitization.\n\nIn conclusion, while \"spam-notifier\" v2.00 has a commendable lack of documented vulnerabilities and a minimal attack surface, the presence of raw SQL queries and incomplete output escaping represents critical security weaknesses that require immediate attention. Addressing these specific issues would significantly enhance the plugin's overall security and mitigate potential exploitation.",[195,198],{"reason":196,"points":197},"Raw SQL queries (no prepared statements)",10,{"reason":199,"points":200},"Incomplete output escaping",6,"2026-03-16T22:09:37.723Z",{"wat":203,"direct":208},{"assetPaths":204,"generatorPatterns":205,"scriptPaths":206,"versionParams":207},[],[],[],[],{"cssClasses":209,"htmlComments":210,"htmlAttributes":211,"restEndpoints":212,"jsGlobals":213,"shortcodeOutput":214},[],[],[],[],[],[]]
