\"custom-field-widget\" plugin v0.1 β exhibits a mixed security posture with some concerning signals despite a lack of historical vulnerabilities and a seemingly small attack surface. The complete absence of unprotected entry points, dangerous functions, raw SQL queries, file operations, and external HTTP requests is positive. However, the \"0% properly escaped\" output signal is a significant concern, indicating a high likelihood of Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities where user-supplied data is rendered without sanitization. The presence of only one capability check and no nonce checks for its zero AJAX handlers or REST API routes, while the attack surface is currently zero, leaves room for future insecure additions. The \"beta\" version tag also suggests potential for undiscovered issues.\n\nWhile the plugin has no recorded vulnerabilities, this could be due to its early stage or limited usage. The lack of taint analysis results is not necessarily a positive indicator, but rather suggests that the analysis tool may not have been able to trace any malicious data flows, possibly due to the limited entry points or a lack of complex data handling. The primary risk lies in the unescaped output, which is a common vector for XSS attacks. The plugin's current security is largely dependent on the absence of exploitable code paths rather than robust preventative measures. Therefore, while the historical record is clean, the static analysis points to a significant, present risk that requires immediate attention.",[211,214,217],{"reason":212,"points":213},"0% properly escaped output",15,{"reason":215,"points":216},"Only 1 capability check for entry points",5,{"reason":218,"points":49},"Beta version status","2026-03-16T20:27:06.758Z",{"wat":221,"direct":226},{"assetPaths":222,"generatorPatterns":223,"scriptPaths":224,"versionParams":225},[],[],[],[],{"cssClasses":227,"htmlComments":229,"htmlAttributes":230,"restEndpoints":231,"jsGlobals":232,"shortcodeOutput":233},[228],"customvalue",[],[],[],[],[]]
