This is \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fcode.google.com\u002Fp\u002Fchromium\u002Fissues\u002Fdetail?id=64309\" rel=\"nofollow ugc\">not\u003Cbr \u002F>\nsupported\u003C\u002Fa> in\u003Cbr \u002F>\nChrome’s default PDF viewer, so the document will probably be scaled to 100%,\u003Cbr \u002F>\nwhich may either mean the document doesn’t fill the frame, or, more likely, the\u003Cbr \u002F>\ndocument is too wide for the frame, and the right-hand side of the document is\u003Cbr \u002F>\nhidden.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch4>Internet Explorer\u003C\u002Fh4>\n\u003Cp>Internet Explorer requires a PDF plugin to render embedded PDFs. Generally,\u003Cbr \u002F>\nthat’s Adobe Reader. Without such a plugin, the fallback download link will be\u003Cbr \u002F>\nused.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch4>Mobile browsers\u003C\u002Fh4>\n\u003Cp>In particular, mobile browsers may show a grey box instead of the embedded PDF,\u003Cbr \u002F>\nand will download the file when it is clicked. Other mobile browsers might embed\u003Cbr \u002F>\nthe PDF, but won’t allow it to scroll.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>Alternatives\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>Your best alternative is to \u003Cstrong>not\u003C\u002Fstrong> embed PDFs. PDFs are bad for many reasons:\u003Cbr \u002F>\nnot easily indexed by search engines, not easily accessible by readers who use\u003Cbr \u002F>\nassistive technologies, poorly supported by web browsers (as seen above) and so\u003Cbr \u002F>\non.
