Even worse, attachment pages may in some cases rank higher than your actual content pages which leads to a poor user experience.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>Reserved slugs\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>Attachment pages can accidentally reserve slugs on your site. Let’s say you upload an image named \u003Cstrong>contact.jpeg\u003C\u002Fstrong>, an attachment page \u003Ccode>https:\u002F\u002Fexample.com\u002Fcontact\u003C\u002Fcode> is automatically created. If you then try to create a page named \u003Cstrong>Contact\u003C\u002Fstrong>, the URL for that page will be \u003Ccode>https:\u002F\u002Fexample.com\u002Fcontact-2\u003C\u002Fcode> which isn’t that great.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch3>How it works\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\u003Cp>This plugin works by automatically setting all attachment slugs to an unique id, so they won’t conflict with your pages.
